Cindy Peters-Pontones
Owner & Director
Speech-Language Pathologist
Cindy started Cornerstone Therapy Services in 1990 here in Brevard County. With faith as the “cornerstone” of her life, Cindy believes that this is God’s business and she is His manager. Cindy received her Master’s degree from Missouri State University in Communication Disorders in1986 and immediately moved to Florida to start her career. Cindy is married with adult children and a precious grandchild. Cindy has 38+ years of experience as a clinician. In 1994, Cindy represented the United States as part of a team going to Russia and working with their professionals and families to teach habilitation methods to the special needs community. Cindy has a passion for life in “working hard and playing hard,” which translates to her practice in working with children, families, and being their total advocates. In her personal life, Cindy has a passion for traveling, snow skiing, going to the beach, gardening and reading.

Raquel Lema
SLP-A
Raquel is a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant at Cornerstone Therapy Services. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) from Florida International University and her Certification in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University. Raquel was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and moved to Melbourne in September of 2025 after living in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for a year. She has worked with children in schools, private practices, and home settings. Guided by her faith, she approaches her work with compassion, purpose, and a commitment to serving others. She is dedicated to continually growing as a clinician through ongoing education and professional development, expanding her knowledge across diverse areas of speech and language development to better meet the unique needs of each child and family she serves. In her free time, Raquel enjoys going to the beach, trying new coffee places, cooking, exercising, baking, and spending time with her husband Mark, family, friends, and her dog, Apollo. Christina Clutter
M.S., CCC-SLP
Christina is a full time Speech-Language Pathologist at Cornerstone Therapy Services. She received her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania. Christina was born and raised in Amity, Pennsylvania and moved to Florida upon obtaining her Masters Degree. Christina is inspired to impact the lives of children and families in the surrounding area. She has worked with children in private practice, schools, teletherapy, and outpatient clinic settings. Christina strives to work alongside children and their families to improve communication skills and create therapy programs for their specific needs. Christina intends to take additional education courses focusing on pediatric feeding and swallowing. In her free time, Christina enjoys the beach, playing/coaching lacrosse, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. Areas of interest include:

Jordan Schopke
M.S., CCC- SLP
Jordan is a CF Speech Language Pathologist who graduated with a Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida in May of 2023. During her time at UF, Jordan's clinical practicum was heavily focused in pediatrics. She gained extensive experience in private practice, teletherapy, and diagnostics/report writing for Dyslexia and Specific Reading Impairment at the University of Florida Dyslexia Clinic. Jordan completed her externship at Cornerstone Therapy Services in the Spring of 2023 and began working full time shortly thereafter. Treatment specialties include:

Jennifer Melendez,
M.A., CCC-SLP
Jennifer is a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist. Originally from South Florida, she received both her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida Atlantic University. Jennifer has 12 years of experience comprised of elementary school settings and private practice covering the pediatric population age range of 1-16 years. Her experience includes working with:

Alexis Krell
M.A., CCC-SLP
Alexis is a Speech Language Pathologist who specializes in pediatric services. For
families with minimally verbal children, Alexis can evaluate for communication systems that best fit their needs, including high-tech speech generating devices. Children who present with feeding disorders secondary to textural/sensory aversions and/or lack of oral motor control and coordination, have received evidenced based intervention from Alexis, increasing the variety in their diet. Alexis believes in the power of a strong home carryover program and will provide direct communication and visual supports for caregivers. Areas of specialty include:

Brianna Rischar
M,A., CCC-SLP
Brianna is a full time Speech-Language Pathologist at Cornerstone Therapy Services. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from University of South Florida and her Master of Arts Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from University of Central Florida. Brianna has previously worked in a pediatric outpatient clinic, pediatric and adult acute care/hospital setting, and in a NICU setting. She loves working alongside her patients and their families to improve their communication/feeding skills and enhance their quality of life. In her free time, Brianna enjoys reading, all outdoor activities, and spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs. Her experience/areas of interest include:

Aislinn Mckinstry
B.S., SLPA
Aislinn is a full time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant at Cornerstone Therapy Services. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Central Florida. During her time at UCF, Aislinn had the pleasure of facilitating events for pediatric to adult individuals with ASD. She has worked with children in schools and private practices. Aislinn enjoys baking, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family and two dogs. Her experience/areas of interest include:

Emily Sink
B.S., SLPA
Emily is a full-time Speech- Language Pathologist Assistant at Cornerstone Therapy Services.
She received her bachelor's degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University in 2026.
Emily has a background of ASL from her undergraduate program.
In Emily's free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and crafting.
Occupational Therapy

Katherine Robinson
OTR, L
Katherine has been an Occupational Therapist for 22 years. She graduated with her Bachelor's of Occupational Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 2000. The first 16 years of her career were spent in an early intervention day habilitation center in Arkansas. After her husband retired from the Air Force, she spent time in Colorado with her family, gaining additional experience in pediatric home health and school based interventions. In 2020, Katherine relocated to Florida with her husband and youngest daughter. She loves her job and enjoys working with children of all ages. She is grateful to spend time "playing" with her clients and interacting with their families. She has 3 beautiful daughters, a spirited red-headed granddaughter, and 3 young and energetic nephews. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Dee Jolly
COTA, L
Dee Jolly is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and Licensed Massage Therapist recently relocated from New Mexico. She graduated from San Juan college with her associates degree in Occupation Therapy, and bachelor’s degree from Highlands community college in physical
sciences. With 8 years of experience in
Occupational Therapy, Dee also taught Kinesiology, Musculoskeletal focus and growth and development at San Juan community college. She worked in pediatrics with primitive reflex work in the schools in her local community for 2 years before obtaining her massage degree. After spending 2 years primarily in massage, Dee is able to
combine the two degrees to analyze muscle irregularities through growth, detect imbalance within the body and correct through therapy. Dee enjoys time on the weekends with family outings, loves music, singing and playing piano and frequently sang in bands with San Juan College and private bands within her community.

Dana Hrinko
COTA, L
Dana is a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a decade of experience. Her passion lies in empowering children to reach their fullest potential through engaging, play-based interventions that promote confidence and independence.
At Cornerstone, Dana collaborates closely with occupational therapists to implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs. Her focus includes fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. With a fun and nurturing approach, Dana strives to make therapy both effective and enjoyable, ensuring that children feel supported and motivated in their progress.
Pediatrics has always been Dana's calling, and she takes great pride in working alongside families to integrate therapeutic strategies into everyday life. Beyond the clinic, she cherishes time with my family and finds strength in her faith, which deeply influences her compassionate and dedicated approach to therapy.
Physical Therapy

Andrea Olivia
PT, DPT
Andrea is a pediatric Physical Therapist. She has been working since 2007 after receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. What she loves most about working with kids is hearing their contagious laughter, seeing their bright smiles, and exploring their amazing personalities. She is grateful for the opportunity to meet so many special kiddos and their inspiring family members. Faith is an integral part of Andrea’s daily life. In union with her husband, Michael, she really enjoys being of service to the community and learning from others along the way.

Alicia Karsten
PTA, L
Alicia is a PTA, with a focus on pediatrics. After over 15 years teaching in various educational settings, including ESE and working in aquatics as swim instructor, she transitioned into the world of Physical Therapy. She loves seeing the progress that a child can make, especially when working with a multi-disciplinary team. With her husband , daughter, and 2 crazy shepherds, she loves serving at her local church, travelling, and spending time by the pool.
Areas she has worked with: Primitive reflexes, toe walking, neuro divergent, CP, developmental delays, Downs Syndrome, torticollissis, hydrocephaly.
